Packaging of Rast Coffee Visconti beans in black
freshalu-free100% Arabica
CHF 25,903 SIZES
Rast Coffee Visconti, 1kg beans

If you want to start your day with an expressive coffee, the Visconti blend is just right. This Arabica-Robusta combination unites the best beans from Central and South America with high-quality Robusta from Java. Whether café crème, espresso or with milk - this coffee is versatile and a favourite breakfast companion. Visconti impresses with a seductive aroma of hazelnut and a flavour profile characterised by dark chocolate. As an espresso, it brings intensity and fullness to the cup, while as a café crème it reveals its soft, nutty-chocolaty side. A particularly harmonious balance is created with milk, making it a favourite for the morning. This blend shows its strengths in strong preparation methods. Visconti 3/3 is ideal for espresso and café crème, where it unfolds its full potential. It is less suitable for filter preparation, as the roast and composition are designed for intensive extraction. The beans for the Visconti blend come from renowned producers: Fazenda Samambaia in Brazil supplies high-quality Yellow Bourbon Arabicas. The Cooperativa Cafenorte in Colombia supplies excellent beans from over 1,900 coffee families. Robusta from the Took Bandung Estate in Java provides strength and depth. The blend is complemented by Arabicas from Coopelibertad R.L. in Costa Rica, which has been focussing on sustainable cultivation and community for decades. The Visconti blend combines tradition, quality and variety. It is the expression of close partnerships with producers worldwide and is roasted with the utmost care at RAST KAFFEE. Versatile in use, it provides you with a powerful, nutty-chocolaty cup that will accompany you throughout the day, depending on how you prepare it.

Rast Coffee Home-Office Blend packaging, perfect for a day at the home office
freshalu-free100% Arabica
CHF 30,903 SIZES
Rast Coffee Home-Office, 1 kg beans

Whether you're concentrating on work or taking a short coffee break - this coffee gives you the perfect boost for the home office. The blend combines three fine Arabicas from Colombia, Ethiopia and Brazil, combining an invigorating effect with fine, balanced flavours. In the cup, the home office blend from RAST KAFFEE has a nutty aroma accompanied by floral notes. Fine nuances of hazelnut and dried apricot unfold on the palate. The slight acidity gives the coffee freshness and vibrancy, while the sweet undertones ensure a harmonious flavour experience - ideal for long working days. This coffee is versatile and adapts to your everyday life. It is particularly well-balanced as a café crème, where the blend unfolds its full depth of flavour. As a filter coffee, it impresses with its clarity and fruity elegance, while as an espresso it reveals its nutty fullness and pleasant intensity. The Home Office blend combines beans from three renowned regions of origin. The Arabicas from the Cooperativa Cafenorte, which has been supporting around 1,900 coffee families since 1963 and ensures quality and traceability, come from Colombia. From Ethiopia comes the legendary Yirgacheffe coffee, characterised by small family businesses and centralised, gentle processing. The blend is complemented by Yellow Bourbon from Brazil from Fazenda Samambaia, where the fourth generation of the Cambraia family cultivates top-quality coffee using sustainable methods. The home office blend is 100% Arabica and is carefully roasted by RAST KAFFEE to preserve its harmonious balance of acidity, sweetness and depth of flavour. It is ideal for fully automatic machines or portafilter machines, but also for classic filter preparation. A coffee that not only wakes you up, but also accompanies you through the working day with pleasure.

Rast Coffee APG Coatepec, Mexico

Rast Coffee APG Coatepec, Mexico

If you're looking for a coffee that will surprise you with its delicate fruitiness and harmonious depth, you'll find it with Rast APG Coatepec coffee. This pure Arabica from the heights of Veracruz, Mexico, brings the best of its origins to your cup: a playful combination of sweet gooseberry notes, gentle freshness and a round, warming cocoa finish. A real all-rounder - both as a lively espresso and as a balanced café crème. The APG Coatepec is elegant and finely nuanced. The nose is dominated by sweet, fruity notes of gooseberry, accompanied by a light citrus freshness. Notes of orange zest and cocoa unfold on the palate, creating a soft, warm depth. This sensory balance makes it a versatile pleasure - from fruity and lively to creamy and full-bodied. This coffee is particularly strong as an espresso or café crème. As an espresso, it has a clear, fruity structure with lively acidity and a delicate body. In a larger cup, as a café crème, the fruit becomes softer, the texture creamier and the flavour is rounded off with fine chocolate notes. It is less suitable for filter methods, as its character loses some of its depth here. APG Coatepec comes from APG Specialty Coffee, a traditional family business from Coatepec, Veracruz. The name goes back to Antonio Pérez Galván, who was already active as a coffee exporter in the 1930s. Today, the company works closely with local farmers and favours transparency and sustainable processes. Fully washed processing produces a clean, clearly structured coffee with consistently high quality. Together with Rast Kaffee, APG shares the passion with which top-quality coffee has been produced for generations - with heart, dedication and respect for nature.

Rast decaffeinated, organic Fairtrade

Rast decaffeinated, organic Fairtrade

Do you want full flavour without caffeine? This decaffeinated Arabica from Peru shows you just how flavourful decaffeinated coffee can be. Rast Kaffee uses the natural CO₂ process so that only the caffeine disappears - and the subtle flavours remain. So you get a cup full of flavour, sustainably produced and Fairtrade certified. This coffee smells of almonds, dark chocolate and a fine fruity flavour. In the cup, it has a clear chocolate flavour, round and balanced. The Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera Alto Mayo supplies Arabicas from altitudes of 1200 to 1900 metres - the best conditions for depth, clarity and natural sweetness. This coffee works perfectly as an espresso and as a café crème - each rated 3/3 points. It is less suitable for filter coffee, as its strengths lie in pressure and crema. You get a dense, aromatic espresso without caffeine, ideal for any time of day - and also for late in the evening. The coffee comes from Fairtrade and organic-certified cultivation and is gently decaffeinated using the CO₂ process - without any chemical solvents. The beans are produced by 1517 farming families from the San Martín and Cajamarca regions. The co-operative focuses on sustainable agriculture, social development and the highest quality standards. The varieties range from Caturra and Pache to Typica, Bourbon and Mundonovo. The cooperative is particularly proud of its Santa Maria origin, a coffee that is produced by 45 women and stands for particularly fine cup profiles.

Packaging of Rast Kaffee Java Baron Arabica Coffee Beans

Rast Java Baron, Indonesien

What makes Rast Kaffee particularly good

Rast Kaffee stands for uncompromising freshness and outstanding quality. Every order is only roasted after it is received - so your coffee is guaranteed to arrive freshly roasted. With over 50 single-origin and plantation coffees, the roastery offers a variety that is unrivalled.

Its multiple awards, including the title of "Roaster of the Year" in Switzerland, are proof of its high standards. Long-standing partnerships with coffee farmers, regular visits to the countries of origin and close ties to the craft make the difference tangible - and palatable.

How and what Rast Kaffee roasts

In Ebikon, the master roasters roast each bean according to an individual roasting profile that is perfectly matched to its origin and characteristics. The coffee passes through precisely controlled steps on modern drum roasters: from homogenisation and drying to the aroma phase and final roasting.

For filter coffee, the lighter roasts end after the first crack in order to emphasise fruity notes. Café Crème roasts develop tart flavours and a full body through longer drumming times. Espresso roasts become darker, reducing acidity and emphasising intense roasted aromas. Each batch is sensory tested and documented in the roasting protocol.

Sustainability

At Rast Kaffee, sustainability is more than just a buzzword - it is our corporate philosophy. The roastery favours long-term, fair relationships with producers, supports sustainable cultivation methods and pays attention to short, transparent supply chains.

When travelling to the countries of origin, quality, prices and growing conditions are discussed directly with the farmers. In production in Switzerland, Rast also pays attention to resource-conserving processes, modern energy efficiency and packaging that ensures freshness and minimises environmental impact. The result is coffee that not only tastes great, but also leaves you with a good feeling.
