What makes Caffè Salimbene particularly good

Salimbene is espresso without detours. Strong, dark, honest. The roastery lives a tradition that dates back to 1933. Founded by Gennaro Salimbene, a man who was born in Haiti and understood the world of coffee from the origin to the cup, Salimbene is now a southern Italian icon.

Early on, the company imported beans from all over the world and built up a treasure trove of green coffee that almost reached legendary status. This knowledge can still be felt today: the blends are intense but well-balanced. They show strength, depth and an unmistakable roast profile that makes Salimbene so unique.

The roastery is now run by Carlo Grenci, the grandson of the founder - and the same applies today: Salimbene remains Salimbene. Tradition is preserved by constantly refining it.

How and what Caffè Salimbene roasts
