Packaging of Rast Coffee Plantation RFA, sustainable Arabica coffee

Rast Plantation, India

If you love coffees with character and depth, you will love Rast Plantation from India. This single origin comes from the Giris region of Chikmagalur - one of the oldest coffee-growing regions in the country. Hand-picked, sun-dried and processed with a great deal of experience, this Arabica coffee brings a fascinating combination of spice, chocolate and a fine fruity flavour to your cup.

The aroma of roasted hazelnut unfolds on the nose, dense and inviting. On the tongue, Rast Plantation is pleasantly spicy, with clear hints of dark chocolate and a hint of ripe plum. A natural sweetness rounds off the flavour and ensures a soft, full-bodied mouthfeel. A coffee that is delicious on its own or with milk.

Rast Plantation is an ideal companion for café crème (3/3) - where its spicy, nutty notes come into their own. As an espresso (1/3), it impresses with its gentle fruitiness and creamy body. It is less suitable for preparation in a filter, as its strength lies in extraction under pressure. It is therefore perfect for your portafilter or fully automatic machine.

The SLN.9 variety used is specially adapted to the conditions in India and produces stable yields while maintaining high quality. The coffee cherries are selectively picked by hand during the harvest period between December and February. The combination of a mountainous growing region, traditional methods and careful processing makes Rast Plantation an aromatic experience - and an honest tribute to Indian speciality coffee.

Coffee Annan Café Crème, organic

Discover a world of coffee that goes deeper with the Organic Café Crème from Coffee Annan. Grown on the volcanic heights of the Rwenzori Mountains in the Kivu region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, this coffee promises not only enjoyment, but also a story of hope and change. With every sip, you support the sustainable efforts of local coffee farmers who produce this exceptional coffee under difficult conditions but with a great deal of passion. The BIO-Café Crème is characterised by its smooth and finely balanced aromas of chocolate and caramel. The combination of single origin Arabica beans of the rare Rumangabo variety and careful roasting in Kenya gives this coffee an exquisite balance of flavours. The light sweetness and creamy texture turn every sip into a small celebration. This organic coffee comes from 100% Arabica beans, which are carefully grown and harvested at an altitude of 1500 to 1800 metres above sea level. The beans are washed after harvesting and refined in Kenya to a medium-dark roast. This reduces the acidity and brings out the characteristic sweet notes to optimum effect. We recommend using a fully automatic machine, a moka pot or a French press to prepare this fine coffee. These methods bring out the natural sweetness and harmonious chocolate and caramel flavours and guarantee a full-bodied coffee experience. Your perfect morning starts with the BIO-Café Crème. With every purchase of Coffee Annan coffee, you contribute directly to a fairer value chain. This is because, unlike usual, a significant proportion of the revenue generated is reinvested directly in the coffee-growing regions. This not only supports local coffee farmers, but also promotes sustainable practices and improves living conditions in one of the world's most challenging regions. With Coffee Annan's organic café crème, you can not only enjoy excellent coffee, but also become part of a movement that shows how enjoyment and social responsibility can go hand in hand.

Coffee Annan Espresso, organic

Let yourself be seduced by the extraordinary power of Coffee Annan organic espresso, a masterful blend of 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta, straight from the fertile volcanic slopes of northern Kivu. This unique espresso blend not only brings you an intense flavour experience, but also the story of a community fighting against all odds to bring you this remarkable coffee. The organic espresso is characterised by an expressive aroma composition in which intense notes of dark chocolate merge with a pleasant spiciness. This full-bodied profile is achieved through careful dark roasting in Kenya, which emphasises the natural flavours of the beans and creates a harmonious balance of acidity. This espresso combines fine Arabica beans of the Bourbon and Rumangabo varieties with robust Robusta beans, all of which are organically grown. The combination of 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta promises a strong yet balanced espresso experience, perfect for starting the day or as the crowning glory of a good meal. Whether from the portafilter, the fully automatic machine or the French press - this espresso unfolds its qualities in every preparation method. For optimum flavour development, we recommend using a portafilter, which brings out the complex notes of chocolate and spices perfectly. Coffee Annan organic espresso is roasted under fair and socially responsible conditions directly in the growing region to maximise local value creation. With every kilogramme of this coffee sold, you not only support the coffee farmers in Kivu, but also our commitment to sustainable and fair coffee production.
