95% Arabica. Slowly roasted on an open olive wood fire. Trinacria Since ancient times, this sun symbol has stood for Sicily, the fertile island in the Mediterranean where, according to Homer, the sun god Helios grazed his flocks. The winged girl's head, with three legs running around it, picks up on the characteristic triangular shape of the island, and like the sun itself, it is a symbol of strength, energy and life. Three forces - Tre Force.Roasting on an olive wood fire At the foot of the volcano Etna in Sicily, a forgotten secret of Italian espresso culture was slumbering: more than 120 years ago, people there were already roasting their Caffè over an open olive wood fire. The slopes of Mount Etna in particular are rich in olive groves that grow particularly well on the fertile lava soil. The lava soil enriches the wood with minerals that release spicy aromas when flamed. Tre Force has revived this gentle, manual roasting process. In an optimised form, this traditional method is used specifically for roasting Tre Force Caffè. As was the case many generations ago, the cut wood from the olive groves is used for this purpose and no tree is felled. The perfect blend Quality and care Tre Force uses only select premium beans from the best highland locations in the world. The blend is secret. A smaller proportion of high-quality robust beans refines first-class Arabica beans. In contrast to the standard, the raw beans are filtered and sieved not twice but five times and then roasted by hand with calm and care in small batches at low temperature for 20 to 30 minutes. Each type of bean gets exactly the roasting time it needs. And only then are they blended. During this gentle prelude, they release their valuable aromas and oils.Chocolate and nutty aromas Before roasting, the raw beans used smell of a composition of fresh mint, olive wood and green peas. The roasted beans exude a blend of delicately spicy aromas reminiscent of the smell of dates, chocolate and nuts. The espresso unfolds aromas dominated by chocolaty and nutty impressions.
