Rast Yirga Cheffe, Ethiopia
It is not known how long the Arabica coffee tree has been growing in the forests of the south-western Ethiopian highlands. However, the fact that Ethiopia can be described with a clear conscience as the "original home of Arabica coffee" can be inferred in particular from the unique genetic diversity worldwide and the associated optimal environmental adaptation of the Arabica plant.
The Yirga Cheffe grows as a garden coffee at altitudes between 1500 and 2200 metres. The main growing area is the "Gedeo zone", which is located south of Sidama. Yirga Cheffe is a coffee of the highest quality. The bean is medium in size and round to oval in shape.

FRESH: ORDER UNTIL SUNDAY, 23.59 O'CLOCK
Fresh service, please note: This coffee is freshly roasted every Monday and shipped two to three days later.
We recommend: Espresso roasts should be used 12 days after the roast date, and filter coffees 5 days after the roast date, which can be found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time to be ready for consistent extraction.
We kindly request that orders be placed by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday so that we can guarantee shipping on the following Wednesday.
