Rast Coffee Visconti, 1kg beans

If you want to start your day with an expressive coffee, the Visconti blend is just right. This Arabica-Robusta combination unites the best beans from Central and South America with high-quality Robusta from Java. Whether café crème, espresso or with milk - this coffee is versatile and a favourite breakfast companion. Visconti impresses with a seductive aroma of hazelnut and a flavour profile characterised by dark chocolate. As an espresso, it brings intensity and fullness to the cup, while as a café crème it reveals its soft, nutty-chocolaty side. A particularly harmonious balance is created with milk, making it a favourite for the morning. This blend shows its strengths in strong preparation methods. Visconti 3/3 is ideal for espresso and café crème, where it unfolds its full potential. It is less suitable for filter preparation, as the roast and composition are designed for intensive extraction. The beans for the Visconti blend come from renowned producers: Fazenda Samambaia in Brazil supplies high-quality Yellow Bourbon Arabicas. The Cooperativa Cafenorte in Colombia supplies excellent beans from over 1,900 coffee families. Robusta from the Took Bandung Estate in Java provides strength and depth. The blend is complemented by Arabicas from Coopelibertad R.L. in Costa Rica, which has been focussing on sustainable cultivation and community for decades. The Visconti blend combines tradition, quality and variety. It is the expression of close partnerships with producers worldwide and is roasted with the utmost care at RAST KAFFEE. Versatile in use, it provides you with a powerful, nutty-chocolaty cup that will accompany you throughout the day, depending on how you prepare it.

This coffee smells of almonds, dark chocolate and a fine fruity flavour. In the cup, it has a clear chocolate flavour, round and balanced. The Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera Alto Mayo supplies Arabicas from altitudes of 1200 to 1900 metres - the best conditions for depth, clarity and natural sweetness. This coffee works perfectly as an espresso and as a café crème - each rated 3/3 points. It is less suitable for filter coffee, as its strengths lie in pressure and crema. Rast Java Baron, Indonesien

Rast Kaffee El Diamante, Peru

Rast Coffee Herminio Organic - Fairtrade certified organic coffee of premium quality.
Guatemala100% Arabica
CHF 9,30250 g
Rast Kaffee Herminio, Guatemala

Rest Coffee Bahareque, Colombia

Discover a real treasure from Colombia with Rast Bahareque coffee. This single origin from the Norte del Valle region impresses with its intense sweetness, fine acidity and complex interplay of flavours. It is backed by the dedicated Cafenorte cooperative, which has been investing in quality, education and sustainability for decades - with success, as Bahareque has been awarded gold by independent Q-graders. In the cup, Bahareque releases a beguiling aroma of dates and liquorice. In terms of flavour, you can expect a nutty base that combines with notes of chocolate and a hint of peach. The combination of fine acidity and balanced sweetness gives this coffee an elegant structure that lingers for a long time. This Arabica particularly shows its strengths as a café crème, where its harmonious balance comes into its own. It also impresses as an espresso with its complexity and fine flavour. It is less predestined for preparation as filter coffee, as its aromatic profile is somewhat less pronounced in this form. It is ideal in a portafilter machine or fully automatic machine. Bahareque is produced by the Cooperativa Cafenorte, a co-operative founded in 1963 with around 1,900 coffee families. The members cultivate 12 regions in the Norte del Valle and are committed to quality, education and social responsibility. Cafenorte guarantees traceability along the entire value chain and contributes significantly to the well-being of the coffee families. The coffee comes from the Castilla, Caturro and Variedad Colombia varieties. It is processed after washing and reaches a high-quality grade with Screen 18. With its syrupy body, mild acidity and notes of bittersweet chocolate, it gives you an intense moment of pleasure - whether as a strong espresso or a balanced café crème. Blawan has a complex flavour with hints of black tea, liquorice and chocolate. Its aroma is reminiscent of marzipan and fresh bread, giving it a warm, inviting flavour. The low acidity makes the coffee particularly round and pleasant, while the full body carries the flavours on the palate for a long time. This single origin unfolds particularly well as a café crème, where its complexity comes into balance. As an espresso, it has a strong, chocolaty profile with a slight spiciness. It is only suitable for filter preparation to a limited extent, as it reveals fewer nuances here. The knowledge of cultivation has been passed down through generations and still characterises the Blawan today. Rast Blawan coffee is a single origin Arabica consisting of the Catimor, Linie-S and USDA varieties. It is processed using the wet-polished method, which gives the coffee its clean, clear cup. The harvest takes place from April to June 2024 and guarantees maximum freshness. Fruity coffees are the opposite of ordinary.

They are lively, clear and juicy - perfect for anyone who wants to rediscover coffee. Choose light-coloured roasts, pay attention to origin and try out different filter methods. This allows you to taste the full range of nature, terroir and craftsmanship in your cup.

Sensory perception - what the nose and palate experience

Fruity coffees are instantly recognisable: Intense aromas of berries, citrus and tropical fruits emerge as soon as the coffee is ground. The cup reveals a clear, lively acidity - not acidic, but fresh and elegant.

On the palate, an interplay of sweetness, fruitiness and fine floral notes unfolds.

  • Ethiopia often brings bergamot, peach and jasmine
  • Kenya shines with cassis, grapefruit and hibiscus
  • Central America delivers apple, honeydew melon and caramel clarity.

These coffees are aromatic, light and complex at the same time - an experience for the nose and tongue.

Origin - where fruitiness originates

The most intense fruit flavours can be found in Ethiopia and Kenya. Varieties that are naturally sweet and floral grow here. Coffees from Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama also have a softer, balanced fruity flavour.
