This balanced Arabica-Robusta blend not only packs a punch in your cup, but also tells a story with every bean - from the volcanic soils of Java to the traditional farms in Brazil and Costa Rica.
Rast Mocca is a coffee for those who like it strong, flavoursome and nutty. The aroma of black pepper unfolds on the nose, arousing curiosity. On the palate, it surprises with intense flavours of black bread and dark chocolate. The blend has hardly any acidity, but all the more body and depth - a round, strong flavour that lingers for a long time and leaves you feeling alert and satisfied.
Versatile, but with clear strengths: Rast Mocca is particularly suitable for café crème (3/3) and espresso (2/3), where it can fully develop its flavourful profile. It is less suitable for filter coffee (1/3), as its strong notes can easily become too dominant there. Whether you use a portafilter machine or a fully automatic machine - this coffee brings power to any preparation.
The blend combines the best Arabicas from Brazil (Finca Vista Alegre) and Costa Rica (Coopelibertad) with high-quality Robusta from Indonesia (Took Bandung Coffee Estate). All farms attach great importance to sustainable cultivation methods and long-standing family traditions. Particularly impressive: Vista Alegre Farm has been run by the Japanese-Brazilian Shimada family for generations - without any artificial irrigation and with respect for the environment and nature. The Robusta from Java provides the fiery finish and makes this coffee a real experience.

Fresh service, please note: This coffee is freshly roasted every Monday and shipped two to three days later.
We recommend: Espresso roasts should be used 12 days after the roast date, and filter coffees 5 days after the roast date, which can be found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time to be ready for consistent extraction.
