Do you want espresso the way it's drunk in Italy? Then Rast Roma is just the coffee for you. This dark-roasted espresso blend combines powerful Arabicas from South America and Sumatra with flavoursome Robusta from Java. The result: an intense, full-bodied espresso with finely balanced acidity - typically Italian, simply strong.
Roma is spicy and aromatic in the cup, with a scent of bitter almond and pleasantly roasted notes. On the palate, it develops a full body with a strong flavour without ever being bitter. The subtle acidity provides balance without dominating the composition. An espresso with expression and depth - just right for those who like it strong.
This blend was developed for the classic espresso (3/3) - be it pure, as a ristretto or as a base for cappuccino, latte macchiato and dark coffee. Roma delivers a dense crema, plenty of body and an aromatic foundation for all milk-based drinks. It is not intended for café crème and filter coffee (0/3 each) - its strengths clearly lie in short, concentrated enjoyment.
The beans for Rast Roma come from three outstanding regions: from the Fazenda Vista Alegre in Brazil, which is farmed under ecological conditions and with a great deal of experience, to the Cafenorte cooperative in Colombia, which combines sustainable production and social responsibility, to the small farmers of the MenaGold cooperative in Sumatra. Some of the best coffees in Indonesia are produced there - carefully processed and refined with a great deal of knowledge. Roma combines all of this in a cup that immediately transports you to Italy.

Some companies take a short break during the public holidays. It is therefore possible that your order will not be dispatched until after the holidays. Thank you for your understanding
We recommend that espresso roasts be used 12 days after the roast date or filter coffees 5 days after the roast date found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time until it is ready for a constant extraction.
We ask that the order is always sent before 23:59 on Sunday, so that we can ensure a shipment on the following Wednesday.
