Miro Coffee La Piragua, Colombia, 250g beans

Here comes your new favourite coffee - fresh, fruity and razor-sharp in definition: Miro Coffee La Piragua is a pink bourbon from Huila, Colombia, grown by Alexander Vargas on volcanic soils. You get a cup profile that starts juicy, remains complex and finishes elegantly: light fruity notes meet a silky, light mouthfeel. It is clear and tangy as a filter and plays with fine sweetness as an espresso - refined, tropical, invigorating.

Red and yellow fruits shine on the nose; in the first sip, the acidity is reminiscent of guava and yellow kiwi, with the citrusy freshness of kumquat. The anaerobic fermentation adds depth: golden berries, green ripe mango and a hint of lemongrass build up. The texture remains silky, the body light, the finish lingers with fine citrus peel and honeycomb - clean, clear and persistent.

La Piragua is a real all-rounder. In filter preparation - whether with V60, Chemex or a modern filter machine - it unfolds its full fruitiness and juiciness. With around 60 grams of coffee per litre of water and a brewing time of just under three minutes, you get a crystal-clear, tangy result that is reminiscent of tropical fruit. This Pink Bourbon also works perfectly as an espresso. A brewing time of around 30 seconds produces a dense, sweet shot that is characterised by its bright fruit and subtle sweetness. The balance is particularly good when you combine it with a little milk - creamy notes reminiscent of caramel and fresh butter develop, while the fruit remains pleasantly present.

This coffee comes from the Huila region of Colombia and is grown by Alexander Vargas on his La Piragua farm at around 1800 metres above sea level. Metres above sea level. The Pink Bourbon variety was washed and anaerobically fermented before drying on raised beds for 15 days. Alexander, a four-time finalist in the Cup of Excellence, is recognised in his community of Palestina as an innovative producer who works with a great deal of experience and experimentation. His combination of care and passion characterises every step - from cultivation to drying.

Miro Coffee roasts this coffee in such a way that its tropical fruit and elegant sweetness come into their own - ideal for modern filter methods and fruit-accentuated espressos.

Coffee Annan Café Crème, organic

Discover a world of coffee that goes deeper with the Organic Café Crème from Coffee Annan. Grown on the volcanic heights of the Rwenzori Mountains in the Kivu region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, this coffee promises not only enjoyment, but also a story of hope and change. With every sip, you support the sustainable efforts of local coffee farmers who produce this exceptional coffee under difficult conditions but with a great deal of passion. The BIO-Café Crème is characterised by its smooth and finely balanced aromas of chocolate and caramel. The combination of single origin Arabica beans of the rare Rumangabo variety and careful roasting in Kenya gives this coffee an exquisite balance of flavours. The light sweetness and creamy texture turn every sip into a small celebration. This organic coffee comes from 100% Arabica beans, which are carefully grown and harvested at an altitude of 1500 to 1800 metres above sea level. The beans are washed after harvesting and refined in Kenya to a medium-dark roast. This reduces the acidity and brings out the characteristic sweet notes to optimum effect. We recommend using a fully automatic machine, a moka pot or a French press to prepare this fine coffee. These methods bring out the natural sweetness and harmonious chocolate and caramel flavours and guarantee a full-bodied coffee experience. Your perfect morning starts with the BIO-Café Crème. With every purchase of Coffee Annan coffee, you contribute directly to a fairer value chain. This is because, unlike usual, a significant proportion of the revenue generated is reinvested directly in the coffee-growing regions. This not only supports local coffee farmers, but also promotes sustainable practices and improves living conditions in one of the world's most challenging regions. With Coffee Annan's organic café crème, you can not only enjoy excellent coffee, but also become part of a movement that shows how enjoyment and social responsibility can go hand in hand.
