Miro Coffee Dimtu, Ethiopia
This coffee is like a sip of summer. Imagine the moment when the first rays of sunshine hit ripe peaches - this is exactly the feeling that Dimtu from Miro Coffee captures. A coffee full of vibrancy, balance and depth that impresses both as an espresso and as a filter.
Dimtu seduces with flavours of ripe peach, cocoa nibs and fresh lemon peel. On the nose, it is reminiscent of sweet apricot juice, while a velvety mouthfeel with fine, lively acidity unfolds on the palate. New facets emerge with milk: Notes of dried plums and caramelised sugar round off the experience. This balance between freshness, fruit and creamy sweetness makes it an extremely versatile flavour.
Originally developed as an espresso roast, it quickly became apparent that Dimtu shines in any brewing method - whether in a portafilter, fully automatic machine or as a pour-over. As an espresso, it emphasises its fruity depth with an elegant sweetness; as a filter coffee, its floral and citrus nuances are particularly clear. Try it in both ways - you will be amazed by the versatility of this omni roast.
Dimtu comes from the Dimtu Coffee Plantation in Guji-Hambella, Ethiopia. The coffee thrives under the best conditions at 1850-2200 metres above sea level. Producer Getachew Zekele has created a semi-forest farm here where nature and coffee cultivation are in harmony. The washed Ethiopian Heirloom varieties produce a clear, complex flavour profile.
The farm is certified organic (NOP, EU, JAS) and is known for its sustainable farming practices. Dimtu is more than just a coffee - it is an expression of Ethiopian coffee culture, artisanal precision and a deep respect for nature.

Fresh service, please note: This coffee is freshly roasted every Monday and shipped two to three days later.
We recommend: Espresso roasts should be used 12 days after the roast date, and filter coffees 5 days after the roast date, which can be found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time to be ready for consistent extraction.
We kindly request that orders be placed by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday so that we can guarantee shipping on the following Wednesday.
