Miro Coffee Banko Gotiti, Ethiopia
Experience the true essence of Ethiopian coffee with Miro Coffee Banko Gotiti. This washed Arabica from the famous Yirgacheffe region combines the characteristic clarity and elegance for which Ethiopian coffees are valued worldwide. With every sip, you will feel how craftsmanship, terroir and passion come together in perfect balance - from the first citrus-bright note to the floral, gentle finish.
Banko Gotiti seduces with delicate flavours of blueberry, rosehip jam and a hint of lavender. In the cup, it first develops a lively, citrus-like acidity, which elegantly transforms into a sweet, jammy depth. The velvety mouthfeel accompanies the fine structure into the long finish, where notes of Assam tea and floral nuances complete the harmony. An Ethiopian classic that impresses with its balance and clarity.
This coffee was developed as a filter roast and unfolds its full potential particularly well in the V60, the Chemex or in the Batch Brewer. Use filtered water at around 92-94 °C and a brewing ratio of 1:16 to bring out the subtle fruitiness. If you like to experiment, you can also try it as a smooth hand-filtered espresso - a floral delight with a delicate sweetness.
Miro Coffee Banko Gotiti comes from the Gotiti station, which has been working with around 400 local producers since 2010. The cherries grow at 1900-2200 metres above sea level in the heart of Yirgacheffe, Gedeb - one of Ethiopia's best-known regions of origin. After harvesting, they are fermented for 48-72 hours, carefully washed and dried in the sun.
The result is a mature, Ethiopian heirloom coffee that delights with finesse and depth - a prime example of Miro Coffee's philosophy: uncompromising quality, transparency and pure pleasure in the cup.

Fresh service, please note: This coffee is freshly roasted every Monday and shipped two to three days later.
We recommend: Espresso roasts should be used 12 days after the roast date, and filter coffees 5 days after the roast date, which can be found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time to be ready for consistent extraction.
We kindly request that orders be placed by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday so that we can guarantee shipping on the following Wednesday.
