It comes from the Cooperativa Juan Santos Atahualpa in the Junín region, where an ideal climate, sustainable cultivation and organic certification come together. The result: a coffee full of character with a creamy texture and fine balance - perfect for your daily indulgence.
Terroir Peru Chanchamayo impresses with its clear and lively flavour. Notes of almond, green apple and caramel form a harmonious interplay that is sweet and balanced at the same time. The body remains creamy and full without being heavy - an experience that will delight fans of filter coffee in particular.
This coffee is best enjoyed as filter coffee, in a French press or in a Bialetti maker. The light roast emphasises the fresh, fruity nuances and ensures a clear cup with a fine aftertaste. Try different grinds and brewing methods to individually emphasise the complex aromas - from the sweet caramel note to the tangy apple freshness.
The coffee grows at an altitude of 600 to 1,600 metres on the mountain slopes of Junín. Shady cultivation, loamy-clayey soils and plenty of rainfall (1,800 - 2,500 mm per year) create ideal conditions. The coffee cherries are carefully harvested by hand, washed and processed and come from the Catimor and Catuai varieties. This limited edition is only available for a short time - so make sure you stock up in good time.
