This coffee tantalises your senses with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. The aromas of cedar, cinnamon, liquorice, bergamot, dark berries and caramel harmonise perfectly and offer a complex taste experience. Its fresh acidity and subtle bitter note make it particularly balanced and ideal for a filter coffee or café crème.
Made from 100% Arabica beans of the Typica variety, this coffee develops its full flavour thanks to the optimal conditions on the Sigri plantation. At an altitude of 1520 to 1830 metres, in the fertile volcanic soils of the Western Highlands, the coffee trees grow in an ecologically sustainable environment. The seeds originally come from the famous Blue Mountain Typica trees from Jamaica - a rarity in modern coffee cultivation.
This coffee is perfect for preparing with a French press or as filter coffee. Its light roast brings out the subtle flavours particularly well, and you will experience the gentle notes of cinnamon and dark berries with every sip. Ideal for those who prefer a light but aromatic coffee.
The Sigri plantation has been setting standards in gourmet coffee cultivation since the 1950s. With a particular focus on environmental protection, the plantation's shade trees provide a habitat for more than 90 bird species - a true paradise for nature. The coffee is fully washed and sun-dried to maximise the quality of the beans.
