Rast Taioba, Brazil
Are you looking for a coffee with depth, character and a hint of the exotic? Then you should try the Rast Taioba. This single-origin Arabica comes from the high altitudes of the Dutra farm in Matas de Minas, Brazil - a real gem among plot coffees. Sustainably grown, processed by hand and with a balance that will delight you with every new cup.
Taioba is a coffee that is addictive - in the best sense of the word. Its aroma is reminiscent of golden rock candy, while dark chocolate, spicy gingerbread and creamy caramel set the tone in the cup. The texture is round, the sweetness is well integrated and the aftertaste makes you think of this special moment for a long time. A coffee that shows how complex Brazil can taste.
As an espresso (3/3), Taioba shows off its full potential: strong, flavourful, sweet and with a fine melt. It also impresses as a café crème (2/3) with its balanced structure and roasty-sweet flavours. The filter (1/3) requires a little finesse, but here too it rewards with depth and character - especially if you like it a little darker and full-bodied.
Behind the Taioba is the Dutra family farm, run by the brothers Ednilson and Walter Dutra. The farm is located at 1,400 metres above sea level in a mountainous region and is known for its consistently sustainable approach. The Catuaí vermelho variety is processed "pulped natural" - a method that gives the coffee its special sweetness. Each harvest is carefully processed by hand. The result? One of the best coffees in Brazil, year after year. And for you: a cup with history, origin and character.

Fresh Service: This coffee is freshly roasted for you every Monday and shipped two days later.
Some companies take a short break during the public holidays. It is therefore possible that your order will not be dispatched until after the holidays. Thank you for your understanding
We recommend that espresso roasts be used 12 days after the roast date or filter coffees 5 days after the roast date found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time until it is ready for a constant extraction.
We ask that the order is always sent before 23:59 on Sunday, so that we can ensure a shipment on the following Wednesday.
