A high-quality blend that combines the fine aroma of washed Central American Arabicas from the high altitudes with the full flavour of the Brazilian Minas Gerais varieties. In combination with the Indian Robusta, this results in a wonderfully aromatic coffee with a beautiful crema.
The Mokaflor coffee roastery has been operating in the heart of Florence since the 1950s and has been run by the Bernini family for several generations. This fine tradition allows continuity in the roasting craft and the passing on of coffee knowledge over generations.
Mokaflor roasts with a drum roasting machine, in which the coffee is heated slowly and gradually, which allows its flavour to develop best. After blending the coffee beans, the coffee is placed in degassing silos, where it rests for around 10 days to degas. Before packaging, the blends are tested using a professional espresso machine.
