What makes Jolly Caffè particularly good

Jolly Caffè is one of the most renowned roasting houses in Italy - and rightly so. The basis of its success lies in the careful selection of twelve fine Arabica varieties, all of which are picked by hand and sorted electronically.

Jolly Caffè was a founding member of the Italian Espresso Consortium and is still active today in protecting genuine espresso quality. Their secret? A perfect blend of tradition, sensory expertise and a genuine passion for coffee. No wonder they were voted number 1 by the Italian trade magazine L'assaggiatore by a wide margin.

How and what Jolly Caffè roasts

At Jolly, each type of bean is roasted individually and gently - because each origin requires its own temperature and roasting time.

This brings out the typical flavours particularly well: fruity notes with washed Arabicas, chocolaty nuances with natural beans. After roasting, the beans are cooled with cold air and not with water - a time-consuming but flavour-preserving method. Only then does the art of blending begin. Each blend is tested at a sensory level to ensure that the result in your cup remains consistently at the highest level.
