Coopchebi has an intense aroma of chocolate and almonds, with a slightly floral aftertaste and a pleasant sweetness.
The Coopchebi cooperative was founded in 1942 and today comprises around 150 farmers, divided into 13 groups in Junin and Pasco. Here the coffee is grown according to the rules of organic farming and the Bird Friendly protocols.
Coopchebi coffee is grown in the shade of the undergrowth, picked by hand and then processed in the historic Peruvian company plant.
Le Piantagioni Del Caffè was founded by the Meschini family in 1994 out of the need to offer very special single estate coffees and is the subsidiary of the traditional Arcaffè roasting company in Livorno. The family know all their producers personally and source their coffees themselves.
