This Fairtrade and organic Óromo coffee is made exclusively from top-quality Ethiopian organic Arabica beans. An exquisite "single origin" from Ethiopia, more precisely from the province of Óromo, the so-called cradle of coffee.
The aromatic beans are roasted in small quantities in the traditional way at the traditional coffee roastery La Semeuse in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
OCFCU Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union in Ethiopia has been working as an umbrella organisation for smallholder families since 1998. The organisation has achieved a leading role at national level. Among other things, it is committed to organic farming, professional quality assurance, improving the school system and drinking water supply.
