Maddog Espresso is a true taste experience. The tasting notes of chocolate, hazelnut, slightly citrusy flavour and white pepper offer a complex yet harmonious cup. The creamy body and sweet acidity ensure a balanced and full-bodied flavour.
This espresso combines beans from Brazil (Sul de Minas) and India (Karnataka). The Acaia, Mundo Novo, Catuai, Catucai, Peridinia and S274 varieties are selectively picked, washed and sun-dried. This careful processing guarantees the highest quality and unique flavour.
For perfect preparation, Maddog Espresso is ideal for espresso machines, Bialetti Moka pots and Aeropress. Grind the beans finely for a strong and flavoursome cup. This coffee also reveals its versatile flavours as long black. Use a hand grinder such as the Hario Grinder Ceramic Slim to get the full flavour when grinding.
The Zermatt roastery roasts its beans at an altitude of 1608 metres in a small house in the Zermatt industrial area. Stéphanie Racinski roasts here two to three times a week, closely monitoring the roasting process to ensure consistently high quality. The beans are delivered to various hotels in the village, such as the Rex and the Swiss Deluxe Hotel Zermatterhof.
