The "Patrizio" tamper makes it easier for the new owner to tamp evenly and straight, as the shaft is ergonomically designed and fits in many hands.The base has a larger and sharper-edged diameter than standard tamper tampers and therefore helps to control the so-called channelling from the very first use.Patrizio is a passionate barista and coffee enthusiast, but he is also an engineer and has a great deal of technical knowledge. This combination makes for an ideal mix to enrich the daily life of coffee enthusiasts with innovative products.The "Patrizio" tamper was designed while preparing to take part in the Swiss Barista Championships. Although the first prototype was not yet perfect, it did the job for a successful participation. Two years later, after extensive testing and incorporating the latest developments in tamper technology, today's final design was created.The "Patrizio" tamper is a development that was started in 2012 and was finalised two years later in terms of ergonomics, functionality and choice of materials.
