The Ethiopia Worka shows what it can do from the very first sip: Intense aromas of ripe peaches and dark wild berries characterise the taste. There is also a velvety sweetness that harmonises perfectly with the creamy texture. The aftertaste lingers for a pleasantly long time and gives this coffee its special elegance.
This coffee comes from the Worka region of Ethiopia and consists of the indigenous varieties Kudhume, Wolisho and Dega. It is grown according to Fairtrade and organic standards, carefully sorted by hand and then gently sun-dried for up to 30 days. To ensure that the beans are optimally protected, the coffee is covered during the night and during the hottest hours of the day.
Ethiopia Worka is ideal for filter methods such as V60, AeroPress or Chemex. Here you can perfectly emphasise its fruity nuances and subtle sweetness. But it is also an absolute highlight as a cold brew - refreshing, fruity and wonderfully balanced.
After elaborate processing in Ethiopia, Ethiopia Worka is sent on to Addis Ababa. There it undergoes strict quality controls before finding its way to Europe via Djibouti. Drip Roaster thus ensures not only the highest quality, but also a transparent origin and fair conditions for the producers.

Fresh Service: This coffee is freshly roasted for you every Monday and shipped two days later.
We recommend that espresso roasts be used 12 days after the roast date or filter coffees 5 days after the roast date found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time until it is ready for a constant extraction.
