Zermatt roastery Kickass Espresso
The Kickass espresso seduces your senses with its rich flavours. The flavours of almond, chocolate, brown sugar, plum and caramel are rounded off with a hint of pepper. The creamy body and sweet acidity create a perfect balance and make every cup a special treat.
This special blend combines beans from the regions of Antigua in Guatemala and Karnataka in India. The coffee beans grow at altitudes between 900 and 1500 metres and are selectively picked, washed and sun-dried. The Acaia, Mundo Novo, Catuai, Catucai, Peridinia and S274 varieties ensure a harmonious and complex flavour profile.
The Kickass Espresso is ideal for preparation in the espresso machine and the Bialetti Moka pot. Grind the beans finely to develop the full flavour. Enjoy it pure as an espresso or as the basis for an aromatic long black. To preserve the strong flavours during grinding, we recommend one of our hand grinders such as the HARIO Grinder Ceramic Slim.
The Zermatt roastery roasts its beans at an altitude of 1608 metres in picturesque Zermatt. Here, Stéphanie Racinski ensures the perfect roast two to three times a week. The beans are delivered to local hotels such as the Rex and the Swiss Deluxe Hotel Zermatterhof and can also be conveniently ordered online for home use. The Zermatt Collective, founded by Marián Podola, brings together a roastery, a café, a ceramics studio and several restaurants to offer you an unrivalled coffee experience.
