The replacement filter holder is made of plastic and can be replaced in one easy step. The quality of the AeroPress can be described quickly: fast, simple and a maximum flavour experience. This hybrid method combines two coffee preparation methods: That of the French press with that of pressure filtering. The ground coffee is first poured over with hot water, stirred and then filtered under pressure. That's it. This achieves everything between (almost) espresso and filter coffee.

The IMS Competition precision sieve with rim for one cup (10-12 grams) has round holes with a conical cross-section that ensure even better cream formation.The shape was determined by I.M.S. to obtain the correct ratio between the base and the height of the coffee puck. The filter is designed with a cylindrical convex base to collect the coffee towards the centre during brewing. This shape is designed to utilise the whole coffee puck. It also facilitates drying and tapping.Compatible with, for example, ECM, Bezzera and Rocket machines with E61 standard brew groups. Also the GS/3 and Linea Mini from La Marzocco.
