A rarity for real coffee lovers. This coffee is an experience for all the senses. Gesha natural from siblings Maria and Plinio Ruiz is one of the top speciality coffees in Panama. It combines fruity elegance with a full-bodied flavour and invites you to discover the special diversity of Panama cup by cup.

With its aroma of mirabelle plum, black tea and sweet fruit, Gesha natural opens up an exciting interplay of flavours. On the palate, it impresses with notes of plum, mango and pineapple, accompanied by a fruity-sweet character. The acidity is present but pleasantly integrated and appears more harmonious than in the washed version. A coffee that will delight you with its depth and complexity.

This single origin is versatile and shows off its strengths particularly well in café crème or as a filter coffee. It also develops an exciting, fruity intensity as an espresso. Whether V60, Chemex or classic hand filter - Gesha natural rewards you with a clear cup and an exceptional flavour profile.

The coffee comes from the traditional Finca Hartmann in Santa Clara, Renacimiento. The Ruiz family has been farming the land for almost 100 years and stands for the highest quality and sustainable cultivation. Today, Maria and Plinio Ruiz run the family business Casa Ruiz, which is known worldwide for its top-quality coffees. The finca lies between 1,300 and 2,000 metres above sea level and is surrounded by forests that belong to the Parque Internacional La Amistad nature reserve.

The Gesha variety, here in its naturally processed form, is one of the most sought-after coffees in the world. Grown in the shade of native trees, the natural ecosystem is preserved, which is reflected in the quality of the beans. We recommend: Espresso roasts should be used 12 days after the roast date, and filter coffees 5 days after the roast date, which can be found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time to be ready for consistent extraction.
