OJO DE CAFÉ stands for enjoyment with attitude. Behind the brand are Debora Knieriemen and Cristian Conci - she with a keen sense of design and flavours, he with a sound knowledge of business and the global significance of coffee. They share a common vision: coffee as a bridge between cultures, as an opportunity to do good.
Their passion began in Colombia - and with it the search for the best beans in Latin America. Today, they work directly with selected coffee farmers, trade fairly and equitably and pay three to six times more than the Fairtrade market. Because they believe that appreciation begins at the source.
Cristian roasts with patience and precision to bring out the full flavour of each bean. Each roast is created with respect for the terroir and the signature of the producer - a dialogue between origin and craftsmanship.
The focus is always on balance: between sweetness, acidity and depth, between tradition and innovation. Whether espresso, filter or mocha pot - every coffee tells its own story. And you are invited to discover it slowly. Because good coffee takes time. Sip it slowly.
At OJO DE CAFÉ, sustainability is not a marketing promise, but an attitude we live by. The coffees come from organic mixed cultivation, are harvested by hand and processed without chemicals. Many of their partner companies are too small to be labelled - but their commitment to quality and the environment is all the greater.
OJO DE CAFÉ also pays attention to every detail in everyday life: aluminium-free, fully recyclable packaging, climate-neutral shipping and printing on recycled paper. Anyone who wants to can return empty coffee bags directly to the shop - very simply, very consistently.
Because for Debora and Cristian, one thing is clear: sustainability starts with awareness. Consume less, but choose the right things. This creates real luxury - in every cup.
