Majestic Earl Grey is a true classic in every respect. This black tea comes from organic cultivation and is refined according to a traditional recipe with the essence of bergamot orange.

Carefully blended with the finest organic Chinese black tea, the result is a fine, aromatic, mild and sweet tea. What makes this Majestic Earl Grey particularly special is its subtle flavour. The added real bergamot oil gives the tea a pleasant and unobtrusive flavour. The addition of mallow blossom, cornflower petals and the refreshing citrus flavour make this Majestic Earl Grey a perfect combination.

Earl Grey is a black tea blend that originally consisted exclusively of Chinese tea varieties. Nowadays, Earl Grey tea is no longer only made from Chinese teas, but also from other varieties. The tea is flavoured with the fine, fragrant and slightly bitter oil of the bergamot fruit.

Earl Grey tea is always a flavoured type of tea. As a rule, black tea from Ceylon, China or Darjeeling is used as the base. However, there are also Earl Grey variations with green tea, white tea or rooibos tea on the market. What they all have in common is the use of bergamot oil, which not only comes from the former British colonies, but is also produced on a large scale in Calabria, in the south of Italy. Our blend is flavoured with natural bergamot oil.

Like all black teas, Earl Grey has an invigorating effect: the caffeine it contains helps to overcome midday tiredness and stimulates the metabolism, circulation, brain and heart. Added to this is the mood-enhancing effect of the real bergamot oil.
