Gatomboya AA comes from the Gatomboya Factory in Nyeri, Kenya, and is produced by around 700 small farmers. The beans, a blend of the SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian varieties, grow at an altitude of 1770 metres in fertile volcanic soil. The washed processing emphasises the natural terroir notes, while the precise fermentation and drying ensure the highest quality.

This coffee shows its versatility both as a filter coffee and as an espresso. In the filter, its fruity and floral nuances unfold particularly clearly, while as an espresso it delights with a juicy sweetness and a complex herbal note. Whichever method you choose, Gatomboya AA brings the quality and flavour of Kenya directly into your cup.

The Gatomboya Factory stands for careful processing and quality at the highest level. After being harvested, the beans are sorted, fermented and washed several times before being sun-dried on African drying beds for up to 21 days. Thanks to the collaboration with Nordic Approach, this coffee not only guarantees outstanding flavour, but also sustainable and fair production conditions.
