The Mechanika Slim PID offers a sleek design without compromising on performance. It has a dual-circuit system that allows you to brew coffee and create milk foam at the same time. The insulated stainless steel boiler ensures a constant temperature, while the high-quality ECM brew group guarantees precise extractions. Individual settings such as pre-infusion and different temperature settings allow perfect customisation to your taste.
The main difference between the normal ECM Mechanika Slim VI and the PID version lies in the temperature control and the customisability of the brewing process:
- PID control: the PID version has a digital temperature control that enables precise control of the water temperature. This allows you to set the temperature precisely and thus customise the flavour of the espresso. The normal version does not have this function and works with a fixed temperature.
- Temperature display: With the PID version, the display shows the current water temperature. This not only gives you control, but also a better overview of the brewing process. The normal version does not have this display.
- Adjustable pre-infusion: In the PID version, the pre-infusion can be switched on and off. This makes it possible to fine-tune the brewing process even further and get the maximum flavour out of the coffee. In the normal version, the pre-infusion is less customisable.
- ECO mode: The PID version offers an ECO mode that reduces energy consumption when the machine is not in use. This function is usually not available on the normal version.

The display shows important information such as the duration of the espresso extraction and the water level. With the practical toggle switch, you can choose between three temperatures (120°C, 124°C, 128°C), switch the pre-infusion on and off and activate ECO mode.
