This espresso unfolds a harmonious interplay of dark chocolate and dried fruit. The blend of 75% Arabica and 25% Robusta provides a dense, velvety texture and a lingering sweetness that harmonises perfectly with the distinctive roasted notes. Hardly any acidity, but all the more body - ideal for anyone looking for an authentic Italian coffee flavour.
Café Noir Espresso Bio shows its full potential particularly well in a portafilter. Around 18-20 g of coffee and an extraction time of 25 seconds are recommended for a classic espresso. It also impresses in fully automatic machines with its strong flavour and thick crema - perfect for pure espresso or as a base for cappuccino and latte macchiato.
Café Noir Espresso Bio is roasted in the in-house roastery on a lovingly maintained Probat UG22 from 1960. Each roasting cycle takes around 20 minutes and brings out the best in every bean. The result: an honest, artisan-roasted espresso with character - for those who don't just drink coffee, but celebrate it.

Fresh service, please note: This coffee is freshly roasted every Monday and shipped two to three days later.
We recommend: Espresso roasts should be used 12 days after the roast date, and filter coffees 5 days after the roast date, which can be found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time to be ready for consistent extraction.
