Jolly Caffè Classico

100% Arabica. 100% Arabica from Florence, labelled 'ESPRESSO ITALIANO'

Crema is the name of Jolly's top blend. Although the word blend is actually only a gross oversimplification. It would be much more accurate to call it a composition. No fewer than 12 (twelve) different high-quality Arabica varieties indulge the senses here. The beans from Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Haiti and Santo Domingo produce a mild, gentle flavour with a very balanced, pleasant acidity. The wonderful flavour and the long, chocolatey aftertaste show how wonderfully rounded this composition is. The individual bean varieties are roasted separately before the actual blending process. This great effort ensures an optimum degree of roasting for each type of bean, which in turn is crucial for the consistently high quality of the caffè.

Jolly Crema is suitable for the perfect 'Espresso Italiano' (another seal of quality that characterises this caffè) from classic portafilter machines and is also popular as a mild espresso in fully automatic machines.

The renowned and competent trade magazine L'Assagiatore placed Jolly Caffè - by a clear margin - in first place. Jolly was also voted test winner in "Der Feinschmecker" in November 2002. All the major bars and cafés in Florence serve Jolly. And if you've ever been to Florence, then you've probably had this coffee, perhaps in Café Gilli or Giacosa or in the splendid Café Rivoire, to name just the most prestigious addresses.
