From two to four cups, the Abaca Coffee Paper Filter 01 offers you the perfect solution to brew the best coffee every time.
Cafec ABACA filter papers are made from sustainable hemp fibres, which are much stronger than conventional wood pulp. This allows for a thinner paper that is still four times more resistant. These specially developed filters minimise the paper taste in the coffee, resulting in a clearer and more vibrant flavour profile.
Cafec filter papers are designed with sustainability and quality in mind. They are FSC certified and made from Manila hemp and pulp from a reforestation project. The "Crepes" height has been adapted to reduce material consumption. Suitable for Hario V60 and similar hand filters, they offer easy and efficient handling. Manufactured in Japan, they emphasise the commitment to quality and environmental friendliness.
The Cafec ABACA filter papers are ideal for preparation with the V60, paper filter, scale, timer, grinder and jug. The optimum brewing time is 3 minutes at a brewing temperature of 96°C. Use 250g purified water and 15g medium ground coffee for the best result. The V60 recipe is simple and effective: insert the filter, rinse with hot water to remove paper flavour and preheat the equipment, then remove the water and start the brewing process. These filters ensure a fast and consistent flow rate, giving the coffee a clean and intense flavour profile.
