The beans are fermented on the individual farms under banana leaves and gently sun-dried - a method that brings out the unique character of this single origin chocolate.
With a cocoa content of 70%, this chocolate combines the perfect balance of intensity and lightness. It is certified organic and is made from fairly grown cocoa beans. The Semuliki Cooperative Union's commitment to sustainable farming and quality has earned it international recognition: this chocolate was honoured with the Silver Award from the Academy of Chocolate 2023.
