A levelling tool that makes your espresso preparation more efficient. Barista Space stands for quality and precision, and this coffee leveller is no exception. The curved base distributes the coffee powder evenly in the portafilter, preparing it for perfect extraction.
The leveller has a diameter of 58.5 mm and therefore fits perfectly into conventional 58 mm portafilters. The adjustable height between 7 and 13 mm enables customisation for different portafilters. Made from high-quality stainless steel, the tool is robust and durable, with a carbon-look handle as an elegant detail.
After filling the portafilter with ground coffee, put the leveller on. The profiled base distributes the ground coffee evenly by gently turning it 2-4 times without applying pressure. Then tamper as usual. This avoids the risk of channelling and achieves reproducible espresso shots.
The tool minimises one of the most common sources of error in espresso preparation - the uneven distribution of ground coffee. The Barista Space leveller makes the process easier and more efficient. The attention to detail is particularly impressive: a manufacturer-side indentation on the inside of the leveller prevents static build-up.
