Winter Blues is handmade from bean to bar in our factory in Zurich Wollishofen. It consists of 70% organic cocoa, organic raw cane sugar and VitaSal Himalayan salt. The cocoa beans come from the Semuliki Cooperative Union in Bundibugyo, Uganda. After harvesting, the beans ferment for seven days under banana leaves and are then sun-dried. The result is a chocolate that is not only certified organic (CH-BIO-038), but also guarantees maximum enjoyment.
The combination of fruity, berry notes of Ugandan cocoa and the delicate salt flakes is unique. The Himalayan salt emphasises the sweet nuances and creates an incomparable moment of flavour. Winter Blues is strong, harmonious and leaves a pleasantly salty finish that harmonises perfectly with the intense chocolate notes.
This chocolate is the ideal accompaniment to a cup of coffee. A strong espresso emphasises the fruity nuances of the cocoa, while a cappuccino harmoniously rounds off the salty accents.
