Amici Espresso decaffeinato is one of the few decaffeinated espressos that still retains the character of the 'original'. Despite all the ordeals that a coffee has to undergo to be called decaffeinated, its flavour is round and pleasant with a variety of aromas. It also has a long-lasting and elegant finish. The crema is fine-pored and reddish-brown with a firm consistency like the caffeinated espresso. The caffeine content is just 0.05%.
The new AMICI blend combines the best Arabica coffees: nine selected ingredients from South and Central America, Asia and Africa. The cocoa notes and full-bodied flavour of South American coffees, the elegant acidity, ripe fruit and caramelised sugar of Central American coffee beans, the jasmine bouquet and freshness of African Arabicas and finally the spicy and nutty notes of Asian coffees.
The interplay of the individual origins in the blend gives the coffee a smooth and complex taste, with a pronounced sweetness and a pleasant acidity that integrates the delicate bitter notes of the roast. The structure of the coffee is defined by a silky, velvety body that invites you to discover the coffee sip by sip and ensures that the coffee flavour lingers long after the last sip. The aftertaste initially consists of roasted hazelnuts and then fades into sultanas and candied orange peel, an experience that lingers long after the coffee has been savoured.
E.S.E : This abbreviation stands for "Easy Serving Espresso" - loosely translated as "Espresso, times quite simple". Provided you have a compatible espresso machine, you will get a cup like no other, always creamy, always perfect. Simply insert the sachet into the machine, let the water run through - done. Incidentally, the E.S.E. sachets from Amici contain the same roast as the "loose" coffee. So you don't have to compromise on flavour. And the best thing is: everything stays clean, no more encrusted coffee grounds. Incidentally, the used portion bags can be composted in an environmentally friendly way.
