A black pack of Rast Coffee Milano against a white background

Rast Milano Espresso, Arabica highland - Robusta blend, 250g beans

Do you like your espresso strong, flavoursome and with character? Then Rast Milano is made for you. This Italian-inspired blend combines high-quality Arabicas from Guatemala, Brazil and Costa Rica with a selected Robusta from Indonesia. Strongly roasted to slightly above second crack - and recognised as outstanding by independent Q-graders.

The Milano impresses with an intense, powerful flavour profile. The nose develops an aroma of roasted hazelnut. The palate is dominated by dark chocolate and spicy notes that linger for a long time. The finish is delicately bitter and distinctive - exactly how an Italian espresso should be. Full-bodied, clearly structured and with plenty of depth.

This blend is perfect for espresso (3/3), ristretto, cappuccino or latte macchiato. The roasted flavours are perfectly accentuated in a portafilter machine or fully automatic machine. Milano is rather too intense for café crème (1/3) and unsuitable for filter coffee (0/3) - it lacks the fine acidic structure. If you love espresso, you will find your favourite with the Milano.

The Rast Milano combines beans from four excellent origins: The Arabicas come from the Fazenda Vista Alegre in Brazil, run by the Shimada family, as well as from the San Jose Buena Vista cooperative in Guatemala and the Coopelibertad cooperative in Costa Rica, among others - all known for their social responsibility and sustainable cultivation methods. The Indonesian Robusta comes from the Took Bandung Coffee Estate on Java and provides that little bit of extra strength and creaminess. The result: an espresso that not only convinces - but inspires.

Coffee Annan Café Crème, organic

Discover a world of coffee that goes deeper with the Organic Café Crème from Coffee Annan. Grown on the volcanic heights of the Rwenzori Mountains in the Kivu region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, this coffee promises not only enjoyment, but also a story of hope and change. With every sip, you support the sustainable efforts of local coffee farmers who produce this exceptional coffee under difficult conditions but with a great deal of passion. The BIO-Café Crème is characterised by its smooth and finely balanced aromas of chocolate and caramel. The combination of single origin Arabica beans of the rare Rumangabo variety and careful roasting in Kenya gives this coffee an exquisite balance of flavours. The light sweetness and creamy texture turn every sip into a small celebration. This organic coffee comes from 100% Arabica beans, which are carefully grown and harvested at an altitude of 1500 to 1800 metres above sea level. The beans are washed after harvesting and refined in Kenya to a medium-dark roast. This reduces the acidity and brings out the characteristic sweet notes to optimum effect. We recommend using a fully automatic machine, a moka pot or a French press to prepare this fine coffee. These methods bring out the natural sweetness and harmonious chocolate and caramel flavours and guarantee a full-bodied coffee experience. Your perfect morning starts with the BIO-Café Crème. With every purchase of Coffee Annan coffee, you contribute directly to a fairer value chain. This is because, unlike usual, a significant proportion of the revenue generated is reinvested directly in the coffee-growing regions. This not only supports local coffee farmers, but also promotes sustainable practices and improves living conditions in one of the world's most challenging regions. With Coffee Annan's organic café crème, you can not only enjoy excellent coffee, but also become part of a movement that shows how enjoyment and social responsibility can go hand in hand.
