Claude Stahel's search for the best green coffees in the world took him to the hills of the Eastern Ghats in eastern India, to Araku. Around 10 years ago, the Naandi Foundation began teaching the local Adivasi farmers the craft of biodynamic coffee cultivation. The Foundation's work soon proved successful and won over the world of speciality coffee. Higher revenues, new prospects for the farmers and a speciality for coffee lovers are the positive results.
Black & Blaze is a small Zurich roastery. It was founded in 2010 by owner Claude Stahel, who decided to dedicate his life to coffee while on holiday. Claude and his team roast a variety of different coffees in Ebmatingen/Forch with great enthusiasm.
