The Sumatra Espresso/Lungo offers you a full-bodied and spicy chocolate flavour that will tantalise your senses. With a strength of 4 out of 6 and an acidity of 2 out of 6, this coffee is perfectly balanced. The intensity of 9 guarantees a powerful flavour experience that is equally convincing as an espresso, ristretto or lungo.
Our Sumatra coffee is made from 100% Arabica beans from Indonesia. These single origin beans come exclusively from coffee farmers in the Orang Utan Coffee project, who are paid directly and fairly. In this way, you not only support the preservation of the rainforest, but also the livelihood of local farmers.
The capsules are compatible with the Nespresso®* system and offer you the opportunity to enjoy your coffee in an environmentally conscious way. For the perfect cup, simply fill the capsule into your machine and select the desired amount: 40 ml espresso, 25 ml ristretto or 80 ml lungo. Each capsule is designed to get the best out of the coffee and offer you an incomparable flavour.

You are part of a special journey when you savour Tropical Mountains coffee. The coffee cherries for their coffees come from their own farm in central Peru.
They also support coffee farmers from their network by purchasing their gourmet organic coffee directly. This gives the farmers a fair income, without middlemen.
The story of Tropical Mountains begins in 2012, when Thomas Schwegler and Gisella Iriarte-Schwegler founded the Tropical Mountains Farm. In addition to growing certified organic coffee, they are also involved in social projects such as the construction of a village school. Quality is the top priority at Tropical Mountains. All of their varieties score over 80 out of a possible 100 points according to the Speciality Coffee Association (SCA).
Tropical Mountains coffee is grown sustainably and organically. The focus is not only on nature, but also on people. The coffee comes directly from their farm or from their organic and fair trade certified partners. The Tropical Mountains family is constantly growing, but its values remain unchanged.
Tropical Mountains takes an environmentally friendly approach by avoiding aluminium and plastic in their packaging. Their coffee pods are even compostable. At Tropical Mountains, they stay true to their roots: organic farming, direct fair trade and sustainable packaging. As a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO), they support local schools and fund charitable projects. At Tropical Mountains, they firmly believe that respect influences flavour.
