Back in 2016, Dale Harris was exploring what could be possible within the confines of the barista championship rules and how the sensory impact of drinks could be enhanced through a broader experience. He began working with London-based ceramicist Ben Sutton on some porcelain mugs that would really make a range of coffee drinks shine.
The designs focused on Ben's artistic skill with hand-fused porcelain, combining elegant aesthetics with the materials and the natural tones and textures of the glaze to highlight the colours, quality and multi-sensory impact of the drinks.
The 2017 World Cup mugs with Dale Harris were originally made in the colour cream. We have added two completely new colours in a bright blue and green.
