If you fancy a particularly elegant cup of coffee, you should definitely try the Nano Challa. This Ethiopian classic has a wonderfully balanced acidity, plenty of fruitiness and a subtle floral note - perfect for anyone who loves complex yet harmonious coffees.


The Nano Challa delights with a fresh, juicy flavour profile: citrus fruits such as bergamot meet sweet apricot and exotic mango. There is also a delicate floral note on the nose that rounds off the experience perfectly. A coffee that will win you over with its balance and depth from the first sip to the last drop.

This coffee comes from the Agaro region of Ethiopia and grows at an altitude of 1980 to 2100 metres. It is processed as a classic washed coffee: after harvesting, the ripe cherries are carefully sorted, the pulp removed and fermented for 40 to 50 hours. This is followed by thorough washing and multi-stage drying on raised beds - first in the shade, then in the sun.

Nano Challa is at its best when you prepare it as filter coffee - for example with V60, AeroPress or Chemex. This brings out the best in its delicate citrus flavours and floral elegance. It is also worth a try for fans of fruity espressos.

We recommend that espresso roasts be used 12 days after the roast date or filter coffees 5 days after the roast date found on the package. Freshly roasted coffee needs this time until it is ready for a constant extraction.
