Behind the name Perle de Café are families, producers and an artisan roastery who all share the same passion: to offer only the best.
Perle de Café coffees come from a small roastery with artisan expertise. The beans from each growing region are roasted in a 22kg drum roaster according to a unique roasting profile.
The traceability of Perle de Café coffees and the transparency of the entire production process are of crucial importance. Each growing region is selected in conjunction with the partners on the basis of its history, message or uniqueness.

La Semeuse is characterised by a unique roasting experience. Due to its location in La Chaux-de-Fonds at 1000 metres above sea level, La Semeuse benefits from a lower boiling point of the water, which allows for a gentler roasting process. This preserves the fine aromas and minimises acidity and bitterness, making every sip of La Semeuse coffee a subtly powerful pleasure.
Every year, La Semeuse imports around 15,000 jute sacks of the finest coffees in the world. With a focus on high-quality Arabica beans, La Semeuse roasts each batch using a time-honoured method in drum roasters. This traditional art, combined with modern technology, ensures a distinctive flavour profile and guarantees the consistently high quality that La Semeuse is known for.
