About the APAS cooperative
The Brasil Espresso is a blend of coffees from various members of the APAS cooperative. 69 members have formed to market their coffee together under the APAS brand. In the region of São Gonçalo do Sapucaí, they grow a wide range of varieties and are repeatedly successful in coffee competitions such as the Cup of Excellence, both with the cooperative and as individual producers. The coffee cherries for the APAS blend were dried on the patio and then mechanically de-pulped. This post-harvest process emphasises the nutty and chocolaty notes of this coffee. The cooperative is currently in the process of converting to organic production and will start supplying certified organic coffee in 2023.

Ojo de Café is a speciality coffee roaster from Bern. Debora and Cristian roast only speciality coffees from Latin America of excellent quality and are always looking for an excellent result in the cup, emphasising fairness, friendship and transparency in every respect.
