Henauer Kaffee is one of the oldest roasting companies in Switzerland. Siblings Philipp and Stefanie Henauer are the fourth generation to run the family business, with coffee running through their veins, so to speak. henauer Kaffee was founded by George Henauer in Winterthur in 1896, followed by a move to Niederdörfli and then to Höri near Bülach in 1986.
Henauer Kaffee not only stands for distinctive roasting craftsmanship and expertise, but also for long-standing relationships with coffee farmers. This is an important aspect for the coffee farmers, but also for you as a consumer. The constant harvest ensures a certain level of income stability for the farmer, which enables him to make future investments and ultimately influences the quality of the coffee in your cup.
Henauer has also been promoting the sale of Demeter coffee in Switzerland for over 70 years and is an organic Suisse-certified company.

In the beginning was the fire... In 1896, when the Olympic flame was lit in Athens, a special kind of fire began to burn in Winterthur. George Henauer lit his roasting machine for the first time - the beginning of a success story for Henauer Kaffee & Tee. Originally based in Winterthur, the company soon relocated to Zurich's Niederdorf district and built up a global network of contacts.
The company has maintained close relationships with traders and producers for generations. These deep-rooted connections enable Henauer to work with several generations of coffee farming families and discover rare and special coffee varieties for its exclusive P14 speciality coffee.
Henauer's coffee roasts are a masterpiece. The company combines up to five different growing regions to create a harmonious flavour profile. Care is taken to ensure that each bean retains its individual characteristics. Henauer's aim is to ensure consistent quality and flavour in its customers' favourite coffee.
