Die Kaffeerösterei Mokaflor ist seit den 50er Jahren im Herzen von Florenz tätig und wird schon über mehrere Generationen von der Familie Bernini geführt. Diese schöne Tradition ermöglicht Kontinuität im Rösthandwerk und die Weitergabe von Kaffeewissen über Generationen hinweg.
Mokaflor röstet mit einer Trommelröstmaschine, in welcher der Kaffee langsam und stufenweise erhitzt wird, was die Entfaltung von seinem Aroma am besten ermöglicht. Nach der Mischung der Kaffeebohnen kommt der Kaffee in Entgasungssilos, wo er etwa 10 Tage ruht und entgasen kann. Vor der Verpackung werden die Mischungen mit einer professionellen Espressomaschine getestet.
