It reduces limescale, lead, copper, aluminium, odour and taste disturbing substances (chlorine, pesticides, etc.) as well as organic impurities. Its new shape improves the filter performance by another 20% compared to the Classic cartridge. Maxtra 4-stage filtration Maxtra offers you an advanced filtration technology that includes four steps:
Step 1 - Intensive pre-filtration: In the first step, the water flows through fine filter mesh.
Step 2 - Ion exchanger filtration: The ion exchanger reduces limescale and any lead and copper that may be present in the house.
Step 3 - Activated carbon filtration: The activated carbon reduces odour- and taste-disturbing substances, such as chlorine and chlorine flavourings.
Step 4 - Intensive final filtration: In the fourth and final step, a special fine mesh filter retains mixed particles.
