Das IMS Competition Präzisionssieb für eine Tasse (7-9 Gramm) hat Rundlöcher mit kegelförmigem Querschnitt, die für eine noch bessere Cremabildung sorgen.
Die Form wurde von I.M.S. ermittelt, um das richtige Verhältnis zwischen Basis und Höhe des Kaffee Pucks zu erhalten. Der Filter ist mit einem zylindrischen konvexen Boden, um den Kaffee in Richtung der Mitte während des Bezugs zu sammeln. Diese Form wurde entwickelt, um den ganzen Kaffee-Puck zu nutzen. Sie erleichtert auch das Trocknen und Ausklopfen.
Kompatibel für zum Beispiel ECM, Bezzera und Rocket Maachinen mit E61 standard Brühgruppen. Ebenso die GS/3 und Linea Mini von La Marzocco.
