Er hat intensive milchschokoladige Noten, die man hauptsächlich in den Bourbon-Kaffees Brasiliens findet, dieser Bourbon aus El Salvador setzt aber nochmals nach mit Intensität und Geschmackskonzentration. Der Kaffee hat ausgeprägte Aromen von Schokolade, gerösteten Nüssen und getrockneten Früchten.
Der Produzent Gilberto Baraona nannte seine Bourbon-Bäume „Bourbon Elite“, da diese Bäume sehr alt sind und als einige der ursprünglichen Bourbon-Bäume gelten, die vor vielen Jahren in El Salvador gepflanzt wurden.
