Vertical Coffee Roasters only process green coffee from the top quality segment, i.e. Specialty Coffee. The quality of the coffee is determined on the basis of an internationally comparable point system from 0 to 100; a coffee with 80 points or more may be called a Specialty Coffee. Vertical Coffee Roasters buy the green coffee directly from the producer or exporter and pay a price that is significantly higher than the world market price and the Fairtrade price.
